National Geographic Magazine October 2007
The article analyzes how making fuel from crops could be good for the planet, but after thinking about it twice. It has many pros but also cons that make it an issue of discussion among car producers and nature protection entities, such as National Geograohic.
This article is highly reliable because National Geographic has been recognized as a quality magazine tha discusses themes and issues about nature, such as Biofuel. It is important that theres only one magazine edition per month so the article that appear on it are studied and developed over long periods of time, which the article highly reliable and interesting. The article also has a lot of statistics and interesting images that increase the articles reliability.
The articles from National Geographic do not tend to be biased because they discuss about nature reality and present themes that have only one point of view. However, this article is somehow biased because the author tries to support and defend the employees who work at this crops and get a lot of infections and medical problems. The article tends to present the cons and not the pros of the biofuel.
I personally think that this article is really interesting because it presents an issue that had never been studied or discussed before. The reader can deduce that the author is really interested on protecting the rights of the workers and their medical care. The article also analyzes statistics that are shocking because they compare how the cons can decrease the importance of the biofuel. It is also interesting because fuels are an issue that not only matter to car producers but the entire world.
Based on this I predict that in the near future biofuels would increase their potential and more countries would begin to introduce biofuels as a source of energy in their society. However, countries would have to carry a lot of studies and health care programs in order to maintain the workers healthy as they deserve it.

Car Wastes Are an Issue
http://www.greenyour.com/transportation/car/car-driving/tips/dispose-of-car-waste-properly
The article analyzes how there are several car substances that are considered hazardous and how this substances should be disposed in order to prevent the contamination of air, soil, and water.
This article is not highly reliable for this purpose because the web page is not used to publish articles about cars, so they are not experienced. However its a web page meant to provide resources and ways to live "green" and reduce the production of hazardous wastes in order to protect the earth. In this way it might be scientifically reliable. It also uses statistics which make it reliable.
The article is not biased because it deals with a real issue that has scientific support, which can be shown with current statistics. It is also a fact that car substances are huge pollutants and the ways to resolve the issue are quiet obvious, which make the article not biased and realistic.
I personally think the article is very interesting because it exposes some important statistics that make the reader think about how to dispose their car wastes. The article states that "Groundwater contaminated by 1 quart of oil can affect up to 250,000 gallons of drinking water." This is important when taking into account thqat water in the entire world is every time more scarce. Water pollution is a huge issue that we are not taking into account really.
Based on this, i predict that in a near future people would get conscient about this issue and would dispose their car wastes on a community drop-off center or will use some of the methods that the article propose.

US "must regulate car pollution"
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/6519923.stm
The article is meant to analize and explain why the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) said that they do not had the power to regulate exhaust gases from new cars and trucks.
The article is highly reliable because it was published by BBC NEWS, which is one of the most important and recognized news sources in the world. It also cites some statistics from the government an the EPA, which make the article highly reliable.
The article is not biased because it is a fact that car pollution during the last years has become an issue in US. The author uses factual information with statistics and quotes that make the article present a single point of view. However, the author presents what the two opposing parts think about the issue, because five judges voted in favour and four dissented-
I personally think the article is really interesting because it presents an issue that has become highly problematic throughout the world. Also, greenhouse gases, which occur naturally but which are also emitted by vehicles, have risen sharply over the past century, and they may contribute to global warming. It is also important to analyze what would happen in the near future with the gasoline car production.
Based on this, i predict that the production of cars that use gasoline would decrease until it disappera, an now the car manufacturers would begin to design hybrid and electric cars that do not pollute in order to prevent greenhouse gases, global warming and other concerning issues.

GM completes sale of Saab to Spyker
http://www.autoweek.com/article/20100223/CARNEWS/100229962
General Motors today completed the sale of its Swedish Saab brand to Dutch luxury sports car maker Spyker Cars NV, making a successful sale and earning some money in order to improve their economy.
The article is highly reliable because its source, AUTOWEEK, is one of the most important magazines and news web page that circulates in United States.
The article is somehow biased because eventhough it is factual and deals with a truth theme, the author proposes its own point of view about it.
I personally think the article is interesting and controversial. GM is selling Saab, because it was not productive at all. So i do not understand why Spyker, one of the most prestigious and productive brands in the world is buying the swedish company. By the other hand, Spyker concentrates on the production of fast sport cars that cost much more than a Saab. Then i ask myself waht the purpose of Spyker´s chairman is?
Based on this, my prediction is that Saab will now change its set of vehicles and will produce more luxury, sport and expensive cars. Saab will now appear in the high car racing competitions with engines developed by Spyker engineers.
